My Story

I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of EON Foundation and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in HBF Run for a Reason 2018. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about EON Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

We've created this team because we want to raise money and make a difference in the health and nutrition of children and their families living in remote Aboriginal communities.

We are passionate and determined about our organisation’s vision of improving health and reducing preventatable, chronic disease in remote Aboriginal Communities.

Our Program, the EON Thriving Communities Program, is unique in Australia and in February 2018, it was featured as a successful case study - ‘Outstanding Local Solutions Delivering Exciting Outcomes - in the 2018 Closing the Gap Report, (pages 103 and 114).

The EON Thriving Communities Program has been delivered in 24 communities in Western Australia with great success.

Demand for the Program from schools and communities is high with more than 20 communities waiting to join the Program at any given time, subject to funding.

Please read more about our work and how we are different at www.eon.org.au and some of our latest successes at www.eon.org.au/news. Please also sign up for our newsletters via the 'subscribe' button on our website and/or our updates on social media @eonfoundation.

Please support our ‘Closing the Gap’ objectives by giving whatever you can by joining our team, participating individually or creating your own team and raising funds for the EON Foundation using the 'Give Now' button.

The more people that know about EON Foundation, the greater the potential for change, so please spread the word by sharing with your friends and family.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
